Artist's Comments

It would be great if this would be an animation, although that would be hard to do in lino

Thats a crazy amount of detail. It shows passion! You might like the works of [link] Rew Hanks. She does alot of lino cuts. Great !

Lovely :D I've always wanted to use linoprinting in an animation (tried it once...didn't work out...but the printing ink did fine) but found it to be better for layouts (backgrounds).

Awesome details.

Thx! It was just an idea, I don't think that there is such a person in existence who is doing animations with traditional printing techniques...

Actually there is one but I can't remember his name :noes:

Russian man. Spent seven years animating bgs and characters in lino. Something like 70 000 frames but surprisingly not as many plates (he worked out the design in such a way that he made it like an etching so it was gradually cut away fer frame). I'll try to find out the name ~

hee hee, Durer has a lot of woodcuts that are like that, I really can't imagine the work that goes into them.

But I think you choose the right word with "robot"! I'd prefer something a little more human.

This is well cool, what size is it in real life?
