What will happen in 2012?

The Earth's magnetic poles will shift, every human will upgrade to the next level of consciousness and aliens will take over the planet. All this just because the mayans ran out of stone by the time they reached 2012 on their calendar. Also if all goes well I will get my college degree in that year.
